Juneteenth falls on Thursday, June 19 this year. The majority of banks look to the Federal Reserve System’s holiday schedule to determine holiday closures. According to the Federal Reserve System's website, Juneteenth is one of 11 federal holidays the organization observes, meaning that most banks will be closed on June 19, 2025.

Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S., is a federal holiday observed on June 19. While federally recognized, only about half of U.S. states officially observe Juneteenth as a state holiday. Essential services such as grocery stores, delivery services (UPS and FedEx), and the Florida DMV will remain open on Juneteenth.
