Two arrests have been made in connection with a weekend stabbing that took place inside a Citrus Heights bowling alley, police said Monday.
Video shows an armed bystander confronting a knife attacker who allegedly injured 11 people at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan, on Saturday.
One of the men who authorities say helped take down a suspect who stabbed eleven people at a Walmart told NBC News about how he sprung into action. Marine veteran Matthew Kolakowski says he took off running after the suspect and rammed him with a grocery cart to prevent him from hurting more people.
"I just went as hard as I could and just got him on his ankles with the grocery cart from behind," said the disabled veteran who, along with other shoppers, managed to disarm and restrain the man with the knife until police arrived.
A weekend stabbing spree at a Michigan Walmart initially left 11 injured, including six critically. As of the latest update, 10 people remain hospitalized and are being treated for their injuries, according to officials. The attack began at the Traverse City store around 4:43 p.m. local time on July 26.

A man has died two days after being stabbed in West Dallas last week, according to a statement Monday by police.
