GREENSBORO, N.C. — After months of speculation, JetZero will officially build its new factory in Greensboro at Piedmont Triad International Airport, a move expected to create nearly 15,000 local jobs and billions of dollars in economic impact.

JetZero to build a plant in Greensboro, NC, creating 14,500 jobs and planning to produce the fuel-efficient Z4 aircraft by 2030.

The Greensboro facility is scheduled to break ground in the first half of 2026, with a prototype aircraft expected by 2027. Each Z4 will accommodate approximately 250 passengers, and the plant is projected to reach a production capacity of up to 20 aircraft a month.
