Things have been fairly quiet in the Phoenix Suns' pursuit of Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler as of late. The rumors first began to circulate weeks ago, and though many thought it was a mere pipe dream,

"Ask the other 29 GMs -- 26 of them would trade their whole team for our whole team and our draft picks and everything as is," Ishbia said during a press conference following the first-round sweep his Phoenix Suns suffered at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Suns made a trade with the Utah Jazz that might just be able to move the needle a tad bit in the right direction for Phoenix. The deal won’t necessarily get them anything today. But the Suns likely don’t ever plan on actually making these picks.
