Netflix has confirmed the release date for its "dark and sumptuous" adaptation of the classic horror novel Frankenstein. Directed by Guillermo del Toro and adapted from Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel, the upcoming film stars Oscar Isaac as the egotistical scientist Victor Frankenstein.
Netflix has announced that the film will now hit select cinemas on Friday, 17th October. This means that horror buffs can immerse themselves in the spine-chilling classic just in time for Halloween. For those holding out for the film's streaming debut, they'll have to bide their time until after the spooky season has concluded.
