Harvard University, in a rare move, has revoked the tenure and terminated the employment of renowned ethics professor Francesca Gino.
Harvard President Alan Garber warned other universities to stand “firm” in “what we stand for” on Tuesday as President Donald Trump has mobilized against the university.
Francesca Gino, a prominent behavioral scientist at Harvard Business School, was accused of manipulating data in papers.
Trump said he is now considering pulling a further $3 billion in federal grant money from Harvard and handing it to trade schools. His administration has already withheld $2.2 billion of federal grant money from Harvard.
The administration is instructing federal agencies to "seek alternative vendors for future services where you had previously considered Harvard."
