The Warner Bros. Discovery network scored 142 Emmy nominations, compared to 121 for Netflix. This marks the most Emmy nominations HBO has ever received in a single year, beating its previous total of 140 in 2022. Last year, it received 91 and was behind Netflix and FX.

“Severance” has become a signature show for Apple TV+. The streamer has gotten plenty of Emmy nominations for dramas including “The Morning Show” and “Slow Horses,” and “Ted Lasso” was downright dominant on the comedy side.
“The White Lotus,” with 24 nominations, was the most-watched drama nominee so far this year, ranking as the No. 16 most-watched streaming program with 11.46 billion minutes viewed, according to Nielsen.

Actors Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”) and Brenda Song (“Running Point”) are set to announce the nominees alongside Television Academy chair Chris Abrego.
