Rush will play its first area concert in more than 10 years when the Canadian rock band performs at Little Caesars Arena on Aug. 26, the band's reps announced Monday. A Detroit man apparently had been drinking before he fell from a dock and into Lake St. Clair, where he drowned, New Baltimore police said Monday. Authorities identified the victim as Demari Dior Morgan, 27. He was visiting friends and family who had rented an Airbnb rental residence near the lake for the weekend.

An Eastpointe man will head to trial on second-degree murder charges in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Detroit man​ in May.
