Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones is expected to be activated from injured reserve prior to the team's game against the host Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, ESPN reported.
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell reaffirmed his commitment to getting J.J. McCarthy back on the field as soon as possible, saying he believes his return is "right around the corner."
Minnesota finished 14-3 last season. The Vikings already have four losses this season after Thursday's listless performance in Los Angeles.
