Tesla has announced a battery upgrade for its flagship Model 3 Performance as well as a new Long Range rear-wheel-drive variant of the long-serving pure-electric sedan.

Following Tesla’s quiet discontinuation of the cheaper “Standard Range” Model 3 in late 2024, the RWD Highland now sits at the bottom of the company’s lineup in terms of price.
