Launching in Spring 2025, this groundbreaking experience will transport guests on a thrilling expedition across the Arctic—where cutting-edge ride and video technology meets the raw beauty of one of Earth's most extreme environments.

ORLANDO, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando is getting ready to open “Expedition Odyssey” this spring! This new attraction is a mix of a fun ride and a chance to see real Arctic animals.

Goodbye, Wild Arctic, hello Expedition Odyssey! That's the new name for the fully revamped and re-imagined cold-weather attraction at SeaWorld Orlando.

Expedition Odyssey will be a “flying theater” type of ride with seated passengers dangling in front of a curved screen that’s 50 feet in diameter. The images they’ll see will feature animals from the Arctic that were filmed during three two-week excursions spread over a year.
