President Donald Trump announced that the Persian Gulf emirate of Qatar was giving the United States a Boeing 747-8 jet to replace the aging Air Force One aircrafts used by the president. But the proposed gift has raised a maelstrom of legal questions from Democrats,

Qatar Airways will buy 210 jets from Boeing, the companies announced Wednesday during President Donald Trump’s visit there, as Trump is expected to accept a $400 million jet from the country, despite bipartisan criticism of security and conflict-of-interest concerns.

The gift comes comes as President Trump heads to Qatar as part of his first international trip of his second term.
