The Iowa High School Athletic Association has released its first RPI rankings for Class 5A, Class 4A and Class 3A, and its committee rankings for the other four classes. In 5A, RPI completely decides the 16-team playoff field. In 4A and 3A, the top two teams in each district are automatic qualifiers. The four at-large teams are determined by RPI.
