Thieves are stealing the brass backflow valves from business properties to sell as scrap for $25 or $30. The repair could cost that business more than $2,000 in parts and labor. BAKERSFIELD, Calif.

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO)--In the last two months, eight backflow valves from five different parks and a median on the south side of Pueblo have been stolen, according to Pueblo Parks and Recreation.
