People across Asia have been battling blustery gales, landslides, flooding and heavy rain after Storm Wipha caused havoc across the region. Vietnam is the latest country set to brace for the extreme weather after the tropical storm battered Hong Kong,
Typhoon Wipha has toppled trees and caused major flight disruptions in Hong Kong and at some nearby airports in China as it moved west off the country’s southern coast.
As of July 20 morning, three people were reported dead in the Philippines, while three were injured and three others missing due to the effects of Wipha.
Vietnam is preparing for Typhoon Wipha, with emergency alerts in coastal provinces and flight cancellations. The typhoon threatens to bring severe weather, including heavy winds and floods, to northern mountainous regions and urban areas.
