ESPN’s College GameDay could soon be making its way to Arkansas. Host Rece Davis says he plans to pitch the idea of bringing the popular pregame show to the Battle of the Ravine, the long-standing rivalry between Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist University.
GameDay picked the Cincinnati at Utah game over several other quality college football games in Week 10 including Georgia versus Florida, Penn State at Ohio State, Vanderbilt at Texas and Oklahoma at Tennessee. Georgia Bulldogs fans will wait and hope that GameDay attends the Georgia-Texas game in a few weeks.
That doesn't mean the lower divisions have fallen off the show's radar entirely, however. In an interview with WZTV-TV in Nashville's Johnny Maffei posted to social media Tuesday, Davis shared that he wants to stump for College GameDay to visit a Division II rivalry on Nov. 15.
