The Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Detroit Pistons on Monday, October 27 in an early-season Week 2 contest that’s exclusive to Peacock. Tipoff time is set for 7 p.m. ET, with the game streaming live from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

The NBA’s return to NBC is part of an 11-year, $76 billion rights package spread across ESPN/ABC, NBC/Peacock and Amazon’s Prime Video. NBC will air primetime games on Tuesdays throughout the season, and Sundays after its NFL commitments end, and Peacock will have streaming-exclusive games on Monday nights.

More than two decades after it last aired an NBA game, NBC is betting on Peacock and Michael Jordan as launches year one of its 11-year deal for the sport.

Fans tuning into the NBA this season will have to adjust their viewing habits to new networks and a seven-day-a-week national TV schedule.

NBC's broadcast of the NBA tip-off was up 87% in viewers compared to last year and marked the season opener's biggest audience in more than a decade.
