MADISON, Wis. – Another road loss, another court storming. For the second time in a little more than a week, Michigan State got thumped on the road and had to exit the floor among a sea of opposing fans.
Greg Gard made program history after leading Wisconsin to an upset win over the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans on Friday night.
The win was Wisconsin's second road victory over a top-10 team this season. The Spartans took the lead in the second half, but the Wolverines steaded themselves to beat their in-state rival. Jeremy Fears Jr. inspired the Spartans' road comeback and finished with a season-high 29 points and nine assists.
