The coach of Poland's national soccer announced Thursday has resigned as head coach, days after a spat with star striker Robert Lewandowski.

Poland star Robert Lewandowski saw the controversy pay off as Michał Probierz resigned from his role as national team head coach.

Robert Lewandowski says he feels betrayed by coach Michał Probierz and that it will be difficult to forget the events which led to him stepping away from Poland.
