Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats finished up the regular season on Saturday with a massive road win over #15 Missouri, locking up the number six seed in the SEC Tournament. The Wildcats finished the season 21-10 overall and 10-8 in SEC play.

Kentucky appeared to be in dire straits. It’s new head coach, Mark Pope, didn’t have a single NCAA Tournament win under his belt, no scholarship players were returning on the roster and John Calipari was taking over half of his 2024 recruiting class with him to Arkansas.

Wildcats leading scorer Otega Oweh may have an increased burden to carry the offense in crunch time now that Jaxson Robinson is out for the season.
