The English pop singer Jessie J says she has been diagnosed with early breast cancer. She says she will undergo surgery after her performance at the London music festival Capital’s Summertime Ball next weekend.

The Grammy nominee took to Instagram to share the news because she "wanted to be open and share it” partly “because selfishly I do not talk about it enough.”

Jessie J has bravely opened up about her health struggles, after revealing she's been diagnosed with "early breast cancer" and is set to have surgery following her gig at this month's Summertime Ball.
