Is cornerback help on the way for the Colts?
Some cornerback help is on the way for the Indianapolis Colts. Prior to Wednesday's practice, head coach Shane Steichen announced that Jaylon Jones was designated to return from injured reserve. In his first practice back, Jones was listed as a limited participant.
As the Indianapolis Colts look to keep building off their strong 6-1 start, the front office is keeping an eye on defensive help leading up to the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 4.
Following Friday's practice, Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steiche announced that wide receiver Josh Downs is available for the team's Week 8 game with Tennessee. Downs entered concussion protocol after the Colts ' Week 6 game against the Arizona Cardinals. After not practicing last week, he then did not play this past Sunday in LA.
