Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann believes Florian Wirtz’s potential move to Liverpool would be a ‘very good step’ for the Bayer Leverkusen star.
Liverpool are ready to offer Wirtz a 'long-term' deal which is rumoured to be for at least five years until 2030. However, as per reports from Sky Sports, his salary will not be in excess of Liverpool's current top earners. The report claims his salary will be boosted to around £16.8m [$22.75m] per year which averages at £320,000 [$433,000] a week.
Arsenal are also being linked with a shock move to secure the return of former goalkeeper Emi Martinez, who is also on Manchester United ’s radar along with Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and Joao Pedro.
