Team Finland picked up a vital 4-1 win over Team Sweden today as Seattle Kraken winger Kaapo Kakko picked up his first points of the Olympics. Kakko and his linemates, Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen, were among the standout performers for Finland against Slovakia in the Olympic opener, and they were once again the driving forces against Sweden.
Finland (1-1-0-0) and Sweden (1-1-0-0) are tied with three points through two games in Group B. Slovakia (2-0-0-0) leads with six. Sweden faces Slovakia (6:10 a.m. ET; Peacock, CNBC, ICI TOU.TV, CBC Gem, SN, RDS) and Finland goes against 0-0-0-2 Italy (Peacock, USA, ICI Tele, CBC Gem, SN, CBC) to close out the preliminary round Saturday.
