The Detroit Tigers came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Minnesota Twins 4-3 in 11 innings on Thursday night at Target Field. The Tigers (71-52) play the Twins (57-64) three more times this weekend in Minneapolis.

Yet, despite the glaring issues, the Tigers remain atop the division, coming into Thursday night 6.5 games ahead of the Cleveland Guardians. The Twins have stumbled down the Central to fourth place, 6.5 games out of a Wild Card spot.
